Parts 1-5: Fruit Bearer

The word fruit is used repeatedly in the Bible. When used in connection with individuals or life-styles, fruit means the result or the product of that person's life. You will find it mentioned as the fruit of righteousness (James 3:18) or the fruit of the Spirit (Gal. 5:22-23). These passages could just as easily be written- the result of righteousness- or the result of the Spirit. Discover the importance of bearing good fruit, as taught in Luke 6.

Parts 6-10: Reproduction

The fruit of the Spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control) is Christ's character reproduced in a believer's life. It must be a part of your life if you are to become a spiritual parent. Just as an apple proves the vitality of the apple tree on which it grows, so the fruit of the Spirit proves that you are abiding in Christ. Parts 11-15: Seed Sower

Jesus taught by using every day experiences to illustrate eternal truths. His teaching method often utilized parables - stories with hidden meanings. His disciples were granted the privilege of hearing both the parable He told and the principles He taught. His public ministry was followed by private explanations that are now part of the biblical record. We not only have the parables, we also have the explanation. This lesson is on the varied kinds of soil upon which the seed is sown. Learn the hidden truths as you find the answers to these questions.

Parts 16-20: Fishing For Men

Fishing for men is a major factor in disciple making. Every believer must learn how to capture men for Christ. None of us are instant soul winners. Christ promises that all who follow Him will be made (developed) into fishers of men (Matthew 4:19). This is a lesson in soul winning. It is designed to help you become a fisher of men. The effective soul winner is a prepared person whose life attracts people to the Saviour. The fruit of the Spirit enables you to carry the life giving seed of the gospel to the world. Opportunities for evangelism abound. The Spirit-led believer will be ready to capture others for Christ. Discover the importance of being ready at all times as you work through this lesson.

It is difficult for a person to believe in something they cannot see, touch or feel. People with their limited knowledge cannot prove God as they can with a mathematical formula. However, we do have evidence of His existence all around us if we only have eyes to see.
